These are big days. Each night at OUTCRY we have seen thousands of people pouring their hearts out. We have big lights. Big sound. World-influencing worship leaders. It’s all big.
But at the beginning of this tour, I felt I needed to share how big the small things are. When I got back from the bigness of the last tour, I slammed back into reality in my local church. The day I got back, I met with a drug-addicted single mother who came to our church because she didn’t know where else to turn. And those are the moments God speaks to me through. You see, the kingdom is huge. So much bigger than we could imagine. But it’s in the small things happening worldwide every day that makes the kingdom so big.[pullquote align=”left” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]But it’s in the small things happening worldwide every day that makes the kingdom so big.[/pullquote]
Yes OUTCRY in every sense of the word is big. But in comparison to the power of the local church, it’s a drop in the bucket. My hope is that people leave these nights feeling bigger not smaller. To truly grasp the power of being faithful where you’re at. This is the heart of OUTCRY, and this is the vision we feel God has given us.
More updates from the road to come! But this is my mind dump for the day.
